Shoulder Complaints
Many people suffer from shoulder complaints including: frozen shoulder, bursitis, and tendonitis.
Chiropractic
Chiropractic treatment includes adjustments to the restricted joint, trigger point therapy to relax the surrounding muscles, active release treatment to reduce the amount of scar tissue and restore a full range of motion. Interferential therapy may be used during the early stages to help reduce inflammation and pain. As the condition resolves stretching and strengthening exercises are prescribed to help stabilize the joint.
Massage Therapy
Massage therapy addresses the muscles that surround the shoulder joint by relaxing them, thereby increasing their range of motion. Massage therapy breaks-up scar tissue that results in restricted motion as well as increases circulation to the compromised tissue to enhance the healing process.
