Sarah Little, Registered Massage Therapist

Sarah Little is a Massage Therapist registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.

She is a graduate of Kine Concept Institute where she received 2500 hours training in the skills required to provide soft tissue treatment to her clients. In addition, Sarah has done the required additional studies in Active Release Techniques to be recognized as a full body ART practitioner. (certification in all three levels)

Sarah has previously worked in multidisciplinary clinics, where she began to find her focused approach on the fascial system. Although her training began with general swedish massage, she has experienced excellent results using myofascial release, active release, and neuromuscular techniques for postural dysfunction and repetitive use symptoms.  She uses a biomechanical approach that focuses on the body as a dynamic whole; requiring assessment skills and a treatment plan to treat not only symptoms, but also the underlying cause.  This approach also relies on the importance of client education and communication; to ensure a better understanding of symptoms, and to aid in the prevention of future injury. This includes a program at the clinic that provides clients with a custom exercise program that adapts with client recovery and maintenance of good health and body mechanics.

In the past Sarah has been a massage provider to athletes at the National Capital Race weekend, the world swimming championship in Montrael, and the Ottawa Renegades CFL players, has held talks at the running room on biomechanics and stretching, and is an avid volunteer for community sporting events, such as the dragonboat festival.

Sarah  is  very dedicated  to  her  profession; whether it be doing further research and training, devising an exercise/treatment plan, or referring to other health professionals, to ensure that each treatment have effective and long lasting results
